The BioPod Plus (version 3.0) is a convenient way to recycle your kitchen scraps, pet poop and restaurant leftovers quickly into valuable feed - an excellent choice for your chickens, fish, bullfrogs, ornamental ponds and backyard songbird feeders. While many compost bins can take 6-12 months to break down their contents, our redesigned thicker units can eliminate most of your food scraps in as little as 24-36 hours. Utilizing the beneficial, juvenile grub of the native Black Soldier Fly, these devices are the most efficient way of bio-converting your food scraps, coffee grounds and brewery waste into living biomass, WITHOUT the need to separate the grubs from the active pile. Mature grubs AUTO-SEPARATE from the active pile via patented crawl-off ramps and collect in the handled harvest bucket. Advanced drainage system helps maintain aerobic conditions by separating liquid effluent from pod contents. Liquids are easily dispensed from external fittings. Top lip barrier helps prevent grub escape while increasing the surface for egg laying. A truly amazing permaculture technology made right here in the Eastern United States.
