With the Fantom Drives PCIe x4 USB 3.1 Gen 2 Host Adapter Card, you can now add one Type-C and one Type-A USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports to your computer. You can also use two USB 3.1 Gen 2 devices at the same time. ASMedia 2142 chipset provides a higher bandwidth than the older generation ASMedia 1142. It supports two USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports and uses advance process with low voltage supply. We recommend this unit to be paired with Fantom Drives for optimal performance on your data storage.
• USB 3.2 Generation 2 PCIe x4 host adapter card with USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C and Type-A ports. All USB ports can handle SuperSpeed+ 10Gbps
• Supports USB 3.2 Gen 2 and is backwards compatible with USB 3.0, USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices. Supports PCIe 3.0, PCIe 2.0, and PCIe 1.0 and Fits
• No driver installation is required on Mac OS X 10.9 to 10.10, and 10.12 to 10.13 (does not work on OS X 10.11). Windows drivers are included with the CD inside the box
• Low profile PCIe form Factor (bracket is included)
