Product Description
This is a Globe 165 Degree Fusible Link Model B part that is used in a variety of application to handle concerns involving fire safety and protection. This is a product that is manufactured by the Globe Technologies Corporation, and is made hear in the United States.

It is used often to hold doors, cabinets, windows, dampers and chutes open. When there is a fire and the heat temperature reaches 165 Degrees Fahrenheit or 74 Celsius, the fusible link will separate apart allowing the closing of the door or damper to close and stop the smoke and or fire from traveling through.
The chute industry uses this fusible link for most of its discharge doors including Trash, Laundry, Rubbish, Recycling, and Linen systems.
