Its gain section controls overall volume, internal gain staging, and multi-level preamp boosts up to +39dB. The redesigned EQ gives you precision control over a broad frequency range. Other features include phantom power for condensers, silent switching, ultra-clean headroom, and fuzz/distortion effects. The Little Black Buffer restores the clarity and output lost from pedal chains and long cables by converting hi-Z signals to lo-Z. Its simple set-and-forget design can be mounted underneath a pedalboard. Together, these two devices give you the tools to craft studio-quality tone for live performance or recording. The Colour Box shapes your core sound with musical EQ, distortion and preamp gain while the Little Black Buffer retains signal integrity across your rig.
