To develop one of the world's best rafter squares, Johnson first had to engineer the EZ-Read™ finish, its revolutionary anti-glare protective coating that diffracts sunlight rather than reflecting it, so it looks as crisp in full sun as it does in the shade. The EZ-Read™ finish also increases friction to better secure your square against your lumber when using it as a saw guide. The Johnny Square® is highly durable and accurate. Its solid aluminum body construction with CNC machined edges ensure an accurate reading every time. This rafter square also features strong magnets for hands-free use as well as continuous scribing notches that are ideal for ripping at 3-1/2" and 5-1/2" as well as handy markers that measure 2x4 board dimensions of 1-1/2", 3" and 3-1/2".
• MAGNETIC SQUARE: This Johnson construction square is perfect for builders and welders. It has a solid aluminum body with CNC machined edges for greater durability and accurate readings every time.
• HANDS-FREE USE: This rafter square has powerful magnets that enable the hands-free operation and ensure the square does not fall while in use; allowing you to complete any job with ease.
• APPLICATIONS: The magnetic edge of this layout tool attaches to ferrous metal; making it excellent for welders. It may be used to set and check squares before or after welds completion; as well as to measure or indicate angles.
• EZ-READ FINISH: When used as a saw guide; this magnetic rafter square with EZ-Read coating enhances friction to assist adhere the square to lumber. The anti-glare protective coating diffracts light rather than reflecting it.
• CONTINUOUS SCRIBING NOTCHES: This 7" aluminum square features continuous scribing notches at 3-1/2" and 5-1/2" that are great for ripping; as well as convenient markings that measure 2×4 board measurements of 1-1/2"; 3"; and 3-1/2".
