A Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) is an important safety device which helps protect people from electric shock and electrocution due to hazardous ground-faults. Ground-faults occur when a current flows along an unintended path, such as through water or a person. Our GFCI with dual LED guidelights provide automatic on/off lighting in the dark while eliminating the need to use an outlet for a plugged in night light. Light the way in kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms and guest suites. Leviton GFCIs help protect people while meeting or exceeding National Electric Code® (NEC®) standards. No matter what your installation needs are, we have a GFCI that's right for you. Available options in the Leviton line include Standard, Weather-Resistant, Combo GFCI/USB, Combo GFCI/Switch, Guide Light, Audible Alert, Wi-Fi GFCI, Blank Face, Dual-Function AFCI/GFCI and GFCI Circuit Breakers.
• Dual LED guidelights add an extra element of safety when it's dark without losing valuable outlet space that would normally have a plugged in night light.
• Continuously protects against electric shock & electrocution by interrupting power if a ground-fault is detected.
• Required by the NEC for areas around the home within a close proximity to a water source (kitchen, bathroom, laundry room, basement, garage/carport, pool area).
• Patented reset/lockout feature prevents reset if the GFCI is unable to respond to a ground-fault or if it isn't wired properly. Regularly conducts an automatic self-test to ensure safety.
• LED indicator provides simple, intuitive feedback on power and protection status.
