Product Description
These 15 gallon barrels aged a rye whiskey from a U.S. craft distillery for at least 2 years before they were freshly emptied. Now that they’ve been emptied, the barrels are ready to age homebrewed beer, homemade wine, cider or other beverage. Small-scale producers can also use these barrels to age their products. Aging beverages in the barrels will add oak, vanilla, rye spice and other flavors to any beverage. The barrel ships with one wooden bung in the barrel, a spare wooden bung and care instructions. Please note that these barrels have a head bung and must be filled from the top.
