In the initial design and development phase of the new OGIO Tank Bag collection, the one thing we didn’t want was a “me too” mounting system. We asked ourselves, “Who should we collaborate with for our new line of tank bags?” The list was just one name, National Products Inc (NPI), manufacturer of RAM Mounts. RAM is widely recognized as the industry leader in mobile mounting solutions, providing the most innovative and durable designs in the marketplace. The collaborative result encompasses a patented and patent-pending mounting system that is easy to install, easy to use and both elegant and simple in design. All RAM mounting bases and tank bag rings manufactured for OGIO are Made in the USA at NPI’s facility in Seattle, Washington. World Leader In Mounting Systems + World Leader In Powersports Bags = World Class Product. The M2 is an 8L tank bag with a 2.5” expansion joint that allows the bag to expand and store up to 12L of volume. Made from single shot molded PU with Carbon Fiber graphics, this bag is water resistant, features a see-through phone window, power cord port, internal removable storage pouch and shoulder strap. Extremely versatile, this bag is both a daily and travel workhorse. Features: Single shot molded PU exterior is water resistant and will not deform from wind shear, Both top and base feature carbon fiber weave graphics, Quick release pull strap for fast removal, Touch sensitive window on top of bag allows for phone and map usage, Reflective piping and graphics for increased visibility in low light, 2.5” expansion joint increases storage volume, Removable Velcro™ backed Storage Pouch, Quick access grab handle, Removable shoulder strap for easy carrying off bike, Full cover, touch sensitive rain cover features a shock cord with cord lock for tight fit and secure snap for added safety Dimensions (Expanded) 8.75” L x 14.25” H x 7.5” W / CM 22.2 L x 36 H x 19 W Weight 2.55 lbs / 1.15kg + 488 Cu.In/8L (Not Expanded) 732 Cu.In/12L (Expanded) 600D Poly, Carbon Weave PU molded top and base with 600D Poly expansion joint.
