Pressure cooking cooks food more quickly compared to conventional cooking methods, which also saves energy. The food is heated quickly due to internal steam pressure that builds up, which cooks food at a higher temperature and with greater humidity. Pressure cooking locks in heat, moisture and flavor, as well as nutrients and vitamins for a healthy meal. SPT EPC-11A Pressure Cooker offers 6 adjustable programs: Rice, Multigrain, Poultry, Meat, Stew and Reheat/Brown. Up to 24 hours Delay Start Timer allows you to prepare the food and have it ready at a later time. Optional Keep-Warm mode holds the temperature of the food until ready to eat. Safety lid lock prevents accidental opening when pressurized. Equipped with a durable stainless steel inner pot with no coatings and an attractive stainless steel exterior.
