Description
Next generation REACH-compliant universal no-clean tacky flux. Improved V3 formula demonstrates mighty action, smooth flow from the syringe and excellent ability to hold components in place. Clear residue is fully translucent allowing unobtrusive control over the soldering process. Contains QC-Aid optical tracer allowing for an immediate visual contamination inspection highlighting flux residue in UV/blacklight. The flux has a pleasant non-chemical scent. CLEANING & CARE: No-clean indicates a cleaning method defined by J-STD-004 - the flux can be left on PCB for multiple consecutive assemblies. The cleaning can be necessary for cosmetic reasons but also to avoid PCB contamination - excessive flux may lead to voltage leakage on circuits with high impedance, non-activated residue may absorb moisture from air and subsequently cause corrosion. Although the cleaning is not required it's best to remove all residues before applying protective coating. STORAGE AND HANDLING: Tacky flux should be stored at room temperature (20-25°C). Refrigeration will not extend product shelf life. If the material has been refrigerated - consider 3-4 hours to normalize at room temperature. Syringes and cartridges are best stored vertically with tip pointing down! Properly stored tacky flux in amber syringe has up to 24-month shelf life. Do not discard the original nozzle cap, tighten the cap while not using the flux - flux may dry out upon extended contact with air. DISPENSING KIT: Syringe implements air piston designed for pneumatic dispensing machines. For manual applications use supplied plunger and tip to manually control the flow. The plunger will not latch with air piston and does not need to be glued to stay inside the syringe - simply detach the plug to reuse between syringes of similar diameter. Dispensing tip connects to syringe using luer-lock thread - twist the tip similarly to a screw. Tightly close syringe nozzle using original "helix" tip cap.
