From the Manufacturer
Accurate, stable and very reliable, the Spectra Precision Laser LL500 is the ideal one-person leveling system for a range of everyday elevation measurements on the construction site. Designed for use on the jobsite, and reliability even in the harshest of conditions, today more contractors around the world use Spectra Precision Lasers to increase productivity and profitability.
The LL500 transmitter sends a continuous, self-leveled 360-degree laser reference over a work area, up to a 500-meter (1,600-foot) diameter. With the LL500, you can perform any two-person leveling task with just one person. Simply set up the laser transmitter anywhere on your job site; it transmits a laser beam to provide an elevation reference that can be picked up by one or more laser receivers, including our innovative HR500 or CR600, whether they are handheld, attached to a grade rod or mounted on a machine.
Applications: Checking elevations Setting Concrete forms (small and large jobs) Checking foundations Digging footings
Features: Rugged, proven design Stable accuracy in even the most challenging environments Machine Control compatible Accuracy: +/-1/16" at 1000ft / +/-1.5mm at 30m Diameter range: 1600ft / 500m
Product Description
The Spectra Precision LL500 Laser Level is a one-person leveling system designed for longer range measurements across your entire site. Accurate, stable, and reliable, it features a 1,650 ft (500 m) working diameter that increases productivity by reducing the need for multiple setups on a large job site. Kit includes LL500 Transmitter, HL700 Receiver, alkaline batteries, and heavy-duty case. The LL500 is ideal for a range of jobs, including checking and setting elevations, concrete forms, footings, and foundations for medium to large sized jobs, as well as longer range machine control applications. You can also tackle excavating, digging footings, and septic tanks or sub-base leveling. The HL700 receiver features a digital readout of elevation that provides a numeric display of +/-2 inches (5 cm), displayed on the large front and rear LCDs which show exactly how far the elevation is from on-grade. To save you time, accurate measurements can be made without moving the rod clamp. Selectable units of measure can be displayed to meet your application: millimeters, centimeters, feet, decimal or fractional inches. A 5-inch (13 cm) reception height, more than double the industry standard, allows quick acquisition of the laser beam, and an anti-strobe sensor prevents false readings from site strobe lights. A capture function captures and retains a measurement when the display is difficult to see. The LL500 transmitter is backed by a 2-year warranty, and the HL700 receiver is backed by a 3-year warranty.
