Super Groom Combs effectively and humanely remove mats and groom on silky and medium haired pets. Each pin in the comb is designed to rotate independently, providing a gentle, fluid motion that detangles hair without pulling angle matted hair without much less pulling and pain. Super-Groom Comb has 22 Course Teeth and Super-Groom II has 30 narrow-spaced teeth are specifically designed for small and medium Breeds with silky hair. When clearing mats, hold mat at skin level and work mat from outer tip toward skin. Rub mat with a small amount of cornstarch to soften. Rotating teeth gently rub the pup's skin, increasing circulation, stimulating natural oil production which keeps skin lubricated and coats shiny. Natural oils are pup’s natural defense against dry skin. Daily combing and brushing spreads natural oils through the coat improving health and increasing coat sheen. Combs are made with 100% solid stainless-steel and will not tarnish nor will bend when wet. Combs can be sterilized or cleaned with warm water and soap. Pins are securely sonic welded in the spine.
