I bought this camera because I travel a lot and I am gone from home for months at a time. Since I live in Florida, being able to check on the house after a storm is a must! Recently, I got an alert that there was a person at my front door, I checked the playback and discovered someone trying to break into my house! I used the siren function to scare them off and saved the video and pictures to my phone. I called the sheriff and when he came to my door was able to give them a description of the person using the camera! I was able to upload the video and pictures and the suspect was tracked down quickly. The good: 1. The ability to pan and track is a must. I normally have my cameras set in one position, but the pan feature allows tracking of people and pets that would otherwise move out of the view of the camera. 2. Great night vision. With a little light I get a great color picture, and without any lighting, I get a good picture from the infrared lights, which light up my back yard, to around 100 feet. 3. 360 degree view, and about 300 degrees up and down. 4. The price is outstanding 5. Waterproof - During the recent hurricane Idalia, my house received over 6 inches of rain. I have rain pouring off the camera, and it worked great! 6. Easy set up. Each camera only takes about 10 minutes to completely set up. 7. Ability to capture and download videos/pictures real time. The not-so-good: 1. The algorithm isn't the greatest. I occasionally get trees swaying and lighting change notifications, though it has gotten much better recently. 2. USB power supply, while great inside, not so much outside, so I had to be resourceful powering these up. One I have a lightbulb socket adapter, but the exterior light must be powered 24/7. Another was near an outlet on my back porch and I bought a USB extension cable. Lastly, I bought a 120v to USB converter and rewired my side porch light for power. 3. The mount: Unlike Blink cameras, the camera comes with a mount, but its uses are very limited. All-in-all, this is a great camera for the price and I couldn't be more pleased!

We have two of these camera on our front deck. The picture quality is great. Picks up cars, animals, and people coming up the driveway. You can change the settings easily and set a perimeter for viewing. We ordered the multi camera one year storage for viewing. The cameras are great to buy on amazon but would urge you to buy the service storage package on line through the app you download on your phone. We tried going through amazon for the service storage package because they had a blackfriday deal which was cheaper then the app but once bought, the amazon digital code would not sync with the app. Amazon was quick and friendly to reverse the charge to make it right.
