This capacitive soil moisture sensor distinguishes most of the resistive sensors on the market and uses capacitive sensing to detect soil moisture. It is made of corrosion resistant material which gives it an excellent service life. Built-in voltage regulator chip, support 3.3-5.5V DC, can be used for your Arduino and Raspberry Pi project This sensor is 3-pin "Gravity" interface, which can be directly connected to the Gravity I/O expansion shield Note: This sensor will monitor the soil moisture according to the principle of capacitive sensing, so put in different soil moisture, tightness, insertion depth will reflect different humidity Specification: Operating voltage: 3.3 ~ 5.5 VDC Interface: PH2.54-3P Size: 98 x 23mm/3.86" x 0.91"(LxW) Cable Length: 200mm/7.87" Pin: Analog signal output, GND, VCC Applications: Garden plants Moisture detection Intelligent agriculture Package Includes: 4 * Capacitive Soil Moisture Sensor 4 * Analog Sensor Cable
• Operating Voltage: DC 3.3-5.5V；Output Voltage: DC 0-3.0V；Interface: PH2.54-3P.
• It is possible to read the amount of real-time moisture present in the soil (for judging whether the soil is wet or dry) by linking the analog output (AOUT) of the module to one analog input (A0) of the Arduino.
• This sensor is compatible with 3-pin interface, which can be directly connected to the Gravity I/O expansion shield. Pin: Analog signal output, GND, VCC
• The principle of capacitive sensing is used to detect soil moisture. It is made of a corrosion resistant material. It avoids the problem of being easily corroded and greatly prolongs its working life.
• Appligations: Through simple design, can automatic watering the vegetable garden, garden, control the flower pot soil moisture, all of electronic competitions and for Arduino Raspberry pi design etc.
