PAPER MODEL KIT TRANSFIGURATION AND RESURRECTION CHURCH OREL 83 Manufacturer: Orel (Ukraine) Scale: 1/100 Material: Paper Condition: New Number of sheets: 18 sheets of A4 Transfiguration and the Resurrection Church in Suzdal are on the territory of the Museum of Wooden Architecture and Peasant Life, which was created from the beginning of the 1960s. Of the different villages of the Vladimir region on the bank of the Kamenka River on the site of the monastery had been brought Dimitry surviving wooden buildings: churches, residential house, outbuildings. The complex is part of the Suzdal Historical and Art Museum, which since 1992 has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Transfiguration Church was moved from the village Kozlyatevo Kolchuginsk area. Date of construction of the church refers to the approximately 1756. The church pre-constitutes a beautiful building in three tiers, the center of which is composed of three octagons each other, topped with bulbous head, covered with shingles. Two side chapels also completed similar, slightly smaller cupolas. Extensions surrounding the church, decorated with coopers coating, and an easy gallery, raised above the ground and secure the right to a wall extension, is a simple elegant porch. Resurrection Church was built in 1776 in the village of Potakino Kameshkovsky District. Later, the church was moved to Suzdal and became an exhibit of the museum of wooden architecture st.
