Specially designed for cutting bread and pastry , the Arcos Colour Prof serrated 12-inch Pastry knife uses a revolutionary ergonomic handle made of inner polypropylene (PP) and soft rubber coating on the outside. This special mixture of materials provides greater comfort and adaptability as well as being non-hygroscopic(it does not absorb liquids). It is also resistant to high temperatures and is non slippery. The colour prof range provides a colour identification system which allows each knife to be identified for cutting a specific food, thus promoting better hygiene and health for the consumer. Originally Arcos produced knives exclusively for the professional. Due to its high cutting power (over 100 mm) and long edge retention (over 350 mm) which made Arcos knives leader in the commercial market, now Arcos professional knives are also available for the end users that wants to feel in theirs hands a precise cutting tool used by professional chefs worldwide
