My 5 year old has been through many Joy-Cons. They’re just not built to last with these little guys. The deck stood out to me as it’s one unit instead of separate controllers that give opportunity for damage or misplacement. It is solid and sturdy as it should be for any child. My son loves the lighting effects of the buttons and joysticks. The vibration feature has worked well. Overall we are happy with the purchase, its price point and the fact the I can rest easy knowing the switch is safer inside this deck!

My kids have been using these for three weeks now and they are holding up well. The standard joycons hurt their hands after some usage and these controllers have fixed the issue. To make these work you must enable wired controller support on the switch. Once you do that the controller lights up and works immediately. Definitely recommend!
