I just bought the 30 ft telescoping docapole for my Floating dock (I live on the Delaware canal and river and use a floating dock to cross to the towpath side for biking and exercise and also to maintain river side). The telescoping pole is VERY strong! I have a 16 footer from Lowe’s or Home Depot and it seems flimsy in comparison (it worked great, but this just is more solid). Yet, the weight is not double for the 30 footer! So, I think it’s an overall nice pole. The attachments are extras I got for my house. We have 3 stories of windows (a lot of them), including attic dormers. With the 30’ pole, I’m hoping to reach them all to clean the exterior glass and also debris. The house is painted cedar siding and a cedar roof, so ladders and an inexperienced guy like me doing this stuff.... it is dangerous (for me) and I could make costly damage to old, large exposure beaded siding that is not only expensive, but tough to replace. The docapole should make cleaning much easier and safer. I’m hoping to get a lot of use out of the docapole and attachments. All is of high quality and came quickly.

For years, I bugged my poor hubby to climb to a very tall ladder and wipe down the dust and cobwebs from the window area of our foyer. I myself topped rickety ladders outdoors to reach with a broom onto siding areas and porch overhangs, etc. When I saw this, I knew I had to try it. I am glad I did. This thing is awesome. I can easily reach wherever I need to to clean and wipe things down. I haven't used the looped mop attachment really wet yet, but I have used it damp with window cleaner on glass and it works great. The longer fuzzy brush attachment works great for getting cobwebs, I just vacuum it off when I bring it down. It traps most of it, which is a real plus. Each of the sections extend independently, which is a very handy feature. I would advise to be sure the farthest end gets extended first, that way, there is less weight on the end you are trying to control. If you keep more of the weight towards you, things are much easier and there's far less risk of breaking a section of pole or bending it. The only downsides I really see are that the locking mechanisms on the sections are a bit difficult to work at first, and the connectors for the attachments are plastic. I wish those were metal, but oh well. Also, make SURE you have room to store this thing, it is huge-- even when all of the sections are collapsed. Otherwise FABULOUS product worth the money just to be able to get at something without hauling out a ladder and risking life and limb.
