My minivan only had 2 cup holders upfront and no place to put my phone. It’s not a big problem, but I wanted more. This device is easy to set up. It seems sturdy enough. There are extra parts to it that fit my application perfectly. If I didn’t have a 90 pound dog that likes to ride in your front seat that can tear up everything I would’ve got the one has a flat surface to put my phone on which she would easily knock that over and destroy it so this one will work so I recommend this product

This item is a great idea especially when you need extra cup holders when traveling. One fall back that could be designed differently is that the lower holder does not expand and will only hold a vessel the size of a soda can. You will not be able to put a thermal cup in this lower holder. This is why I gave it 4 stars. Otherwise it is easy to use, stable with a 32oz thermal cup on top and a narrow water bottle on bottom. Good value for the price.
