I tried both to make sure they are compatible with my Snes mini because some reviews said only one works while the other works for Nes mini. Luckily, they both works for my Snes mini. Good purchase.

I bought two packs of this (2 cables each pack for a total of 4 cables). 1 pack will be for nes classic and the other for snes classic. This is where the issues comes in. I open the first pack and only one of the cables works for the snes classic. i open the other pack and it too has only one of the cables that work with the snes. I tried flipping controller ports and the results are the same. However, the 1 cable from each box that didn't work on the snes actually worked on the nes. This is vice versa with the ones that works with the snes cables where the cables that worked with the snes does not work with nes. Happy accident or just luck. i cant tell the cables apart but i believe that each pack has 2 cables where one only works with nes and another works with snes. this is the cheapest name brand i could find and one pack is half the price of the chinese market ones. if you plan on getting 1 pack for one classic console AND you plan on playing multiplayer with it, get 2. Besides 4 cables with this brand = 1 pack of 2 from chinese brand price-wise. That's why i gave it a 5 star because it works in my situation but probably not for most people.
