The Pentair Pentek Big Blue Filter Bundle includes 6 Pentair Pentek DGD-5005-20 20-inch whole house sediment filter cartridges and 1 Pentair Pentek EP-20BB 20-inch whole house carbon block filter cartridge. The sediment filter cartridges feature dual-gradient density spun polypropylene construction with 5 micron filtration that provides superior particulate reduction and 3 times the dirt holding capacity compared to similar sediment cartridges. They effectively remove dirt, sand, silt, and other particulates without imparting taste, odor, or color. The carbon block filter cartridge utilizes high porosity bonded powdered activated carbon to reduce chlorine taste and odor better than competitive 10" carbon blocks. Its uniquely formulated polyolefin pre-filter increases cartridge life by trapping sediment. With a 44,000 gallon capacity, the carbon filter should be replaced annually. Together, these complementary filtration cartridges keep water clean and protect appliances in all residential, commercial, and industrial applications. The bundle contains everything needed for whole house filtration using a compatible 20-inch Big Blue filter housing sold separately.
