69W43 Furnace Flame Sensor Compatible with following: Lennox/ Armstrong/ Ducane Furnace Flame Sensor. Part # : 69W43. This sensor has a 90 degree bend in it. Function: A flame sensor senses the furnace flame ensuring that ignition has occurred. It then monitors the flame until the furnace shut down. Should combustion be disrupted for any reason the sensor loses its signal and shuts the gas valve off. Anti-high temperature: Rod maximum temperature: 2190 degree Fahrenheit. Ceramic maximum temperature: 1000 degree Fahrenheit. Insulation maximum temperature: 250 degree Fahrenheit.
