Sta-Lube New Generation GL-5 Gear Oil is widely used for differentials operating under high speed, low torque. This lubricator is also suitable for use in low speed, high torque conditions, and meets SAE, military, and commercial specifications. Our lubricant provides protection against wear with our anti-wear and extreme pressure formula. Gear oil can be removed easily with a degreaser or parts cleaner, and protects against shock loading and gear scoring.
• STA-LUBE: Sta-Lube offers a range of high performance greases, gear oils, service oils, fluids, hand cleaners, additives, and lubrication formulas. Highly efficient products have been rigorously tested to meet the highest quality standards.
• GEAR OIL: This heavy-duty oil is a multi-purpose, high-pressure automotive gear lubricant that performs excellently for differentials operating under high speed, low torque or low speed, high torque conditions.
• QUALITY FORMULATION: The lubricant for gears contains anti-rust and anti-wear EP additives for corrosion protection in drives and hypoid gears.
• APPLICATION RANGE: This gear oil is recommended for the complete filling or topping of off manual transmissions, hypoid type differentials, limited-slip/twin grip/trac-lok/sure-grip differentials, and other applications where an 85w/140 grade is advised.
