Kent & Stowe Kid's Stainless Steel Digging Spade
Give children their first taste of real garden tools with this Kent & Stowe Kid's Stainless Steel Digging Spade. Designed to be a lighter, smaller version of Kent & Stowe's full-size digging spade, it's ideal for growing gardeners to use with adult supervision. The stainless steel head is rounded to be safe and easy to use. Meanwhile, the beautiful ash wood handle is lightweight so it's easy for children to handle, whilst being durable enough to make it an invaluable all-year-round addition to your other garden accessories.
Usage and care: Ideal for use in large soil areas. Best used for digging, soil turning and improving drainage. Push down into the soil using the foot plate whilst keeping a straight back at all times. Try not to bend too far over the tool so that the spade should leverage the soil with minimal effort. Do not allow children to use unsupervised.
It is very important to take proper care of these garden tools so that they continue to perform at their peak. Do not leave your tools outside, always store them away after use in a dry environment. Thoroughly clean any tools which have been used for chemical applications. Fertilisers and other chemicals will rapidly corrode any metal.
