The Dracaena compression is a revolution in fitment design. It simplifies the process of setting up a liquid-cooling loop and provides a seal that outperforms traditional compression fittings. By using 4 preinstalled O-rings and an overhauled design, the fitting can satisfy your requirements perfectly; Fittings for hard tubing are marked with only one number, which stands for the OD (Outer Diameter) of the tube it can accommodate. A hard tubing compression fitting consists of more parts, but the two most important are the base and the locking ring. The hard tubing compression fitting usually also has two more o-rings. One is nested inside the base of the fitting, while the other one sits between the base and the locking ring. The most common sizes for hard tubing compression fittings are for 12mm, 14mm and 16mm tubes that Dracaena offers. ;Advantages of Dracaena tubing: Compression fittings are popular because they do not require soldering, so they are comparatively quick and easy to use. Dracaena fitting doesn't require special tools or skills to operate. They work at higher pressures and with toxic gases. Compression fittings are especially useful in installations that may require occasional disassembly or partial removal for maintenance etc., since these joints can be broken and remade without affecting the integrity of the joint.They are also used in situations where a heat source, in particular a soldering torch, is prohibited, or where it is difficult to remove remains of water from inside the pipe which prevent the pipe heating up to allow soldering.Dracaena Compression fitting is a solid-tube compression fitting, designed for use with solid tubing such as Acrylic, Copper, Stainless Steel or any other type of compatible hard tube.
