The Dracaena compression is a revolution in fitment design. It simplifies the process of setting up a liquid-cooling loop and provides a seal that outperforms traditional compression fittings. By using 4 preinstalled O-rings and an overhauled design, the fitting can satisfy your requirements perfectly. Dracaena soft tubing compression fitting consists of two parts, the main part is the base and it’s very similar to the standard barb fitting, but it has an additional thread. The other part is the locking ring which screws on the base of the fitting and it prevents the tubing from slipping off the barb. Advantages of Dracaena tubing: Compression fittings are popular because they do not require soldering, so they are comparatively quick and easy to use. Dracaena fitting doesn't require special tools or skills to operate. They work at higher pressures and with toxic gases. Compression fittings are especially useful in installations that may require occasional disassembly or partial removal for maintenance etc. since these joints can be broken and remade without affecting the integrity of the joint. They are also used in situations where a heat source, in particular a soldering torch, is prohibited, or where it is difficult to remove remains of water from inside the pipe which prevents the pipe from heating up to allow soldering.
